
Dr. Michael J. McQuade
Education and training : Dr. McQuade graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree. He completed his dental training at Creighton University School of Dentistry, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After completion of his dental training, he completed an internship in general dentistry at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He completed periodontal training at the U. S. Army Institute of Dental Research and Walter Reed General Hospital, Washington D.C. and his Master’s degree from George Washington University. He is certified to provide IV conscious sedation by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and is trained in advanced cardiac life support.
Faculty appointments : He was the Director of the Graduate Periodontics Residency Program at Baylor College of Dentistry from 1990-1993. He served part-time as the faculty in the Graduate Periodontics Residency Program at Baylor College of Dentistry from 1993-2005 and a staff member of the dental department at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas from 1990-2005. He has held positions as the Director for Graduate Periodontics in the United States Army Dental Corps and held faculty appointment at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He is a retired Colonel in the U. S. Army, where he served as Consultant in Periodontics to two Army Surgeons General.
Board certification : He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Professional contributions : His peers have elected him to numerous professional committees. He has published over 25 peer-review articles and book chapters and lectured on a national and international level. He currently serves as an Examiner for the American Board of Periodontology.
Professional memberships : He is a Fellow in the American College of Dentistry, and a Fellow in the International College of Dentistry. He also holds membership in the Southwest Society of Periodontists, the American Academy of Periodontolgy, and the American Dental Association.
Community Involvement: Dr. McQuade has been a member of the Carrollton/Farmer’s Branch Rotary for nearly 13 years. He has been active in multiple fundraisers and community charity events including child immunization. Dr. McQuade has also been associated with Children’s Medical Center through Baylor College of Dentistry for the past 15 years. He supervised hospital based periodontal surgery for children with severe dental and periodontal problems. Dr. McQuade and his wife Joanne have been ongoing financial supporters of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Crippled Children (through the Shriners), the Boy Scouts of America and the Vietnam Veterans Association.
Dr. Jeffrey A. Rossmann
Education and training: Dr. Rossmann graduated from the University of Minnesota with Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees. He completed his dental training at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After completion of his dental training, he completed a general practice residency at the Brooke Army Medical Center. He completed periodontal training at the U. S. Army Institute of Dental Research, Washington D.C. and his Master’s degree from George Washington University. He is certified to provide IV conscious sedation by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and trained in advanced cardiac life support.
Faculty appointments: He has recently been named Professor and Chair, Department of Periodontics at Texas A & M Health Science Center, Baylor College of Dentistry. He is a part-time Clinical Associate Professor in Graduate Periodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry. Previously, he was the Assistant Director for their graduate program from 1995-1999. He is also a staff member of the dental department at Scottish Rite Hospital of Dallas and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. He has held positions as the Clinical Director for Graduate Periodontics at the University of Texas, Health Science Center, in Houston, and as the Assistant Director for Graduate Periodontics in the United States Army Dental Corps. He also held faculty appointment at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He is a retired Colonel in the U. S. Army.

Community Involvement: Dr. Rossmann has been an active member of the Lewisville International Rotary club since 1998. He is also active in the Alpha Omega International Dental fraternity and has served as program chairman, president and international regent over the years in the Dallas alumni chapter. Dr. Rossmann acts as the supervising periodontal faculty member for operating room cases at both Children’s Medical Center Dallas and Scottish Rite Hospital for children.
